Bitkom study on IT security and AI published

The Bitkom association published a revealing study on IT security on August 28, 2024. According to this study, more companies will once again be affected by cyber attacks in 2024. The attacks are predominantly digital, for example through data theft, digital sabotage and spying on communications. Analog attacks are also on the rise, such as the theft of physical documents.

The Bitkom association published a revealing study on IT security on August 28, 2024. According to this study, more companies will once again be affected by cyber attacks in 2024. The attacks are predominantly digital, for example through data theft, digital sabotage and spying on communications. Analog attacks are also on the rise, such as the theft of physical documents.

It is a race between IT managers and cyber criminals. For this reason, the average share of the budget for IT security in the overall IT budget rose to 17% in 2024 (compared to 14% in 2023).

There will probably never be one hundred percent security. Nevertheless, it is to be hoped that the overall level of security in the IT sector will improve. Avabis GmbH has therefore been working on this topic for some time and plans to develop a solution to improve IT security in the future.
